Membership at Torquay Golf Club includes those indispensable and distinguishing attributes which are fundamental in a true “Members Club”.
Torquay is a family club with an active membership of Ladies, Gents, Juniors and Social members enjoying both golf and social events throughout the year. New members and visitors are sure to receive a warm and courteous welcome.
The location of Torquay Golf Club, being just a short distance from St Marychurch and Babbacombe, is ideal - and many members live within walking distance.
Our annual fees start from 1st April, however we promote joining Torquay Golf Club at any time during the year at pro-rata fees.

Affordable Membership for low to modest incomes
The Club has introduced a new category of affordable membership. At an annual cost of £490 (plus fees) access to the golf course can be obtained on Friday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Please apply directly to the Secretary Manager for this type of membership. The membership is aimed very directly at those on low or modest incomes, and the Club will require applicants to demonstrate that this is the case.
Membership notes:
• University - 18-21 years. Joining fee for Juniors 12-17 £50, for Intermediate/University 18-21 £100, 23-24 £125.00 and 35 & over £250.00
• Country - No joining fee. MUST be member of another club. Over 100 miles distant - allows 20 games per year.
• Social - own bar discount card.
• ***Retired Social - needs to have been a full member for
10 years previously and be of retirement age.
• Joining fee £250 for age 35 & over - £125 for under 35’s - can be paid over 5 years and by direct debit over
10 months
Joining fee and subscription may be paid by direct debit.
*Country members do not pay the DCU fee if they are a member of a club in Devon.
